Blue Sky Fund heavily relies on the generosity of individual donors to fund our mission.  Please consider making a donation today to support our mission to provide transformation experiences for urban youth through outdoor education. With your help, the youth we serve will experience the outdoors in positive, supportive, and life-changing ways.

Why is the work we do important?

Richard Louv, author of Last Child in the Woods, is an expert in what he has termed “nature deficit disorder.” Louv's research confirms that many children today have more stress, lower concentration, and lower self-esteem because their need for nature goes unmet.

Blue Sky is here to change that. Every donation helps us introduce urban youth to natural environments in order to help children achieve academic success, especially in the sciences, and develop character and leadership through outdoor experiences that expand horizons.

How does your donation help?

Each and every donation supports our year round programming at Blue Sky Fund. We offer in-school, after school, and summer programs that reach youth between the ages of 8 and 18. We are currently reaching approximately 2,000 youth a year. Please consider investing in the lives of the youth we serve by supporting Blue Sky Fund!
